This term we have been studying the novel 'Al Capsella.' Some of us have liked it, but many of us didn't. This is a place to reflect and discuss what we felt about the novel, and why we felt it.
I thought that this book was way to boring the story line was not at all interesting , it was all just about a boy and his parents. The assignment would have been much, MUCH easier if we had gotten to read an interesting book.
the book al capsella i didnt really like. it was boring and i really couldnt stay focused on it for a long time coz it just didnt interest me enough....... once i finished the book it was a big releaf coz it was so dam boring lol :D haha. i also thought some of the task to do fter u read the book r really repeditive and dont relate to the story in sum cases....over all i didnt really like it and i dont think it was that good really. i still stick by my statement that doing to book study on harry potter would have been lot better lololololololololololololololololololololololololololol well i hop the comment does get me a god mark for novel study :D :P lol catch ya!
I like the book it is very interresting because he has a weird family and they are funny i wish u could have a mum like that to see what it's like! but other then that ty for shorting the assiment and i rate the book a 7/10

For future people who are doing novel study if you know a good book make sure you tell the teacher about it or else you might be stuck with a crap book like Al Capsella.
AL capsella is boring but nearly all novel study are! we get on with it!!
it was boring and i didn't get much out of the book its self, its nothing special. i think if the book was a little more interesting i would have done a better job of my al capsells questions.

Your rite a lot of the questions were repetitive and very boring and it would have been a lot better doing Harry Potter 2 as the novel study instead.
Al capsella is a really interesting book once you get past how many pages they waste by saying things like i woke up saturday morning. i normaly like waking up on a saturday morning but not today there were weeds and dead trees everywhere. But like who seriously wants to hear that. They should have just stuck to the story line. I found this book extremley hard to read because of how boring the most part of it was. If we had an interesting book the whole assignment would be much much easier

If anyone wants to read a interesting book that is really short check out Hell Island by Matthew Reilly the school library should have it.

Miss A in future if we have you for another novel study can you please get 8G's opinion first, it would make novel study a lot easier and less boring.
